I had a fantastic time at Kids Day Out this year held in January 2018 at Dapto Library. This was a free event for children and this year we had over 200 attendees.

I read my new picture book ‘Mr Crocodile’s Cooking Class’ to over 30 children, followed by a fun craft activity consisting of making a crocodile mask. What a great day for everyone but more importantly, I love promoting the importance of literacy in children. Good on you, CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia – Illawarra Division) for making this day possible for both children and authors.
